Privacy Policy

This policy explains what JX Learning collects when you use lms.jxmodifications.co.uk, and why.

Who we are

JX Learning is operated by JX Modifications. The LMS uses Discord to sign you in. We do not use password accounts.

Information we collect on sign in

When you click Sign in with Discord we receive and store:

• Discord user ID
• Discord username and display name
• Discord email address
• Discord avatar
• Whether you are a member of the JX Discord server
• Your Discord role IDs in that server (used to grant course access and admin rights)
• The date and time you signed in

We use this to create or update your LMS account, check you are allowed to sign in, unlock the right courses, and show your profile.

Information we collect while you use the LMS

• Lesson and exam progress
• Username changes you make in Settings
• Admin actions if you are an LMS admin (for example course edits)

How we use Discord webhooks

Sign-in and some admin events may be sent to a private JX Discord log channel so the team can monitor access and account activity.

Storage

Account and progress data is stored in our database. We keep it while your account is needed to provide the LMS. Blacklisted accounts may be retained so they cannot sign in again.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. Discord processes the sign-in request under Discord’s own terms. Hosting and database providers process data only to run this website.

Your choices

You can review your Discord-linked profile in Settings. You can ask JX Modifications via Discord to update or delete your LMS account, subject to any need to keep records of blacklist or abuse.
